5.2.7.1 KUSA Classic Consultancy Team

Letter of resignation received from Mrs JM Hubbard .

This email serves to confirm that I will be resigning from being a member of the KUSA Classic

Consultancy Team upon completion of the KUSA Classic Shows and Events 2022.

I have enjoyed this position since 2017 and have tried to assist the Executive Committee with KUSA Classic events and shows since the inception of the KUSA Classic. It is time for me to step down and encourage new ideas for the way forward.

I find my workload as Chairman of the Federal Council exceptionally time-consuming, as is the KUSA Classic, and I need to devote more of my time to the Federal Council of KUSA.

I wish you and Exco ongoing success with future KUSA Classic events and shows.

Letter of resignation received from Mr BG Robinson .

I refer to our recent Skype call and hereby confirm my resignation as a member of the KUSA Classic

Consultancy Team (KCCT) upon conclusion of the 2022 KUSA Classic. As mentioned to you, my position

as Fedco Vice-Chairman has encumbered me with too many onerous responsibilities and I believe it’s the turn of other senior KUSA Officials to assume responsibility for the KUSA Classic.

I wish you and the new Team all the best with the organisation of future KUSA Classics

The letters of resignation were accepted, and gratitude expressed for the many years of service given by

Mrs Hubbard and Mr Robinson

The Exco Chairman appointed Mrs YC Jefferies and Mr M Vorster to join him in forming the KCCT for the

KUSA Classic 2023 Events.

Applicants interested in hosting the KUSA Classic 2024 Events need to have declared their interest by

Exco 08-22

Noted.

5.2.8 KUSA Classic 2023

We are 13 months away from the KUSA Classic in 2023 and as yet we are not aware of any Province stepping forward to make application to host the shows in 2023.

Until such time as a Provincial Council comes forward, Exco is to consider the appointment of Judges for 2023. Exco considered the report submitted by the 2022 KUSA Classic Consultancy Team (KCCT) and thought it appropriate for the Chairman to seek further clarity from the KCCT on the way forward. The matter was deferred to Exco 04-2022.

Carried forward from previous Agenda.

Subsequently the following was received:

Over the last few years, the Northern Areas Provincial Council has worked in collaboration with the District of Gauteng and Surrounds Provincial Council, assisting with the hosting and operation of the KUSA Classic Show.

Having had sufficient exposure to and experience with the organisation, hosting and operation of this event, the NAPC put forward to its members, the proposal to host the event during 2023.

The proposal was met favourably by our members, having received no objections in this regard.

To our knowledge, there have not been any other proposals or applications to KUSA to host the event and the NAPC would therefore like to apply to host the 2023 KUSA Classic weekend.

We request that the proposal for application be considered as there are sufficiently experienced and willing members of the Council that have expressed their willingness to participate in the organisation and operation of the event.

Your favourable consideration would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance

Faithfully

Keith Duranty

NAPC Secretary

A meeting is scheduled to discuss alternate names.

Carried forward.

9.2.2 Praetor Rottweiler Club
